Lovely Idea

I recently had a newsletter emailed from the people at Papermash and noticed this brilliant idea.

We have just had our little boy's first birthday and wish I had thought to do it then. Use coloured masking tape (in this case gold glittery tape available at Papermash) to create personalised numbers on party cups. Love it!

Noah's Ark Handmade Personalised Children's Name Print

Just wanted to share a recent bespoke piece I did for a very special little boy's christening present.

I have started to create handmade personalised name prints using a combination of individually painted wooden letters and beautiful layered paper cut designs, the themes range from pretty bunting hanging over a flower meadow to bright and colourful trains and carriages and even hot air balloons flying through the sky.

Since having my son I have been creating lots of handmade things for his nursery and then started to create these prints for friends and family as gifts. They are all handmade by me in my studio/dining room and come unframed in a standard size to fit most shop bought frames or can be framed at an extra cost to make a wonderful personalised gift.

Here are a few other designs I've done, if you are interested in commissioning a unique gift you can leave a comment below or contact me at

I do also take bespoke orders so please get in touch if you would like something tailor made.

Christmas Stocking

I realise it's a little late to post about this but I was really proud of myself for making a Christmas stocking for Harry, especially as my sewing skills are pretty limited. Hopefully he will continue to use this every Christmas as I have since I got mine when I was little.

A quick tip if you are thinking of making a stocking for next Christmas, instead of buying red felt from an expensive craft shop go to Wilkinsons and buy one of their red felt toy sacks, much cheaper and basically the same quality.
